Head of School
Monica Mukotsanjera
Monica joins Atlas Primary following several rewarding years at St John's College.
Her educational philosophy is rooted in the harmony of the Head, Heart, and Hands, engaging the intellect, nurturing character, and developing the practical skills needed to turn ideas into reality. At the heart of her vision is a commitment to cultivating a generation of entrepreneurs from Grade 1. Visionaries equipped to create jobs, not just seek them.
As a PhD candidate and Cambridge Examiner, Monica brings a commitment to world-class academic standards alongside unwavering pastoral care. Above all, she is a mother, giving her a deep understanding of the hopes and aspirations every parent has for their child's future.

Ignatius Blessed Munengwa
Ignatius Blessed Munengwa is an education entrepreneur and career strategist with more than a decade of experience guiding young people toward purposeful futures. He is the founder of Dream Big Academy, which he has led for over 10 years, helping students align their education with real-world career opportunities and personal growth.
His work focuses on bridging the gap between education and the marketplace, advocating for an education system that equips learners with practical skills, strong character, and the confidence to pursue meaningful paths in life. Through media, public speaking, and youth development initiatives, he has contributed to conversations on education reform, career development, and youth empowerment in Africa.
Atlas Primary School reflects his vision of education as a journey of discovery, where every child is guided to explore their talents, develop critical thinking, and grow into a future-ready leader prepared to contribute positively to society.
Founding Team
Julie Shaw
Julie Shaw brings a rich blend of educational expertise to the Atlas Aspindale community. With an undergraduate degree in Psychology, Geography, and English, and postgraduate studies in Education and Curriculum Development, she has 16 years of experience, teaching from Montessori to A-Levels in traditional and alternative environments across the UK, South Africa, and Zimbabwe.
Alongside her teaching, she has led school counselling initiatives and mental health awareness workshops. As a board member of Atlas Schools and an Executive Function Coach, Julie is passionate about crafting an environment where academic rigour, experiential learning, and student well-being all thrive.
